How is ZENOO food made?

Fresh and balanced ZENOO food is freeze-dried into convenient meals. Freeze drying is a low-temperature dehydration process that involves freezing the product, lowering pressure, then removing the ice by sublimation. This process allows raw food to retain all nutritional value. We learn from the best - we use the same high-end technology for our food as NASA.

Where are the ingredients of ZENOO products sourced from?

We source our ingredients from trusted and ethical suppliers, human-grade quality farms in EU. There are absolutely no nasties (fillers, artificial flavoring, preservatives) in our food.

What's better - frozen or freeze-dried food?

Both choices are worth celebrating - you're feeding your dog healthy! However, freeze-dried dog food is much more convenient:

- You avoid defrosting;

- It doesn't take up freezer space;

- You can easily travel with it;

- There are no risks of harmful bacteria such as salmonella, E. coli, tapeworm, listeria, or campylobacter.

How long does the delivery take?

Delivery time varies depending on the country. Usually, it takes 2-4 business days after the payment.

How do I know how much food or supplements to give to my dog?

Every package comes with feeding instructions based on your dog’s needs.

How long will the food stay good after it's delivered?

An unopened package can be good for a year and after opening it - 2 months. It is best to store it in a cool, dry place and keep it away from direct sunlight.

How do I serve the food to my dog?

Mix a measured amount of food with water, wait 5 minutes & serve with love.

Why do I need to give less of ZENOO food than my usual dog food?

Because ZENOO is full of goodness! The major benefit of feeding your raw dog food is that it preserves nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and enzymes - many of which are lost or destroyed when cooked. In comparison, kibble is highly processed and heated many times, and in return, this process makes kibble less nutritious.

How to switch from previous food to ZENOO?

There are two ways to switch to a new diet:

The first method is a starvation diet. The pet does not eat anything for 24 hours since the last meal: no treats, bones, etc. You provide fresh drinking water only. And after 24 hours, serve ZENOO food. The transition with a starvation diet can be applied to adults and healthy dogs. We don't recommend it for seniors or dogs with serious health problems, young puppies, and dogs who have been eating only dry food for a long time.

A second transition method is to change your pet's diet gradually. With this method, the diet switches in a little over a week:

- On day 1, the daily portion consists of the previous food and a small amount of new food.

- On days 2nd and 3rd, the daily portion consists of 75% of the previous food and 25% new food.

- For 4-5 days, the daily portion consists of 50% of the previous food and 50% new food.

- On days 6-7, the daily portion consists of 25% of the previous food and 75% new food.

- And from day 8, the whole portion consists only of new food.

Don't be concerned if your puppy has softer bowel movements or vomits in the first few days. The body experiences a bit of stress due to changes in diet, and it may result in slight bowel distress. To make the transition smoother, we recommend giving natural probiotics during the transition period. Kefir and natural yogurt will help restore the proper intestinal microflora.

Can I give ZENOO food to my cat?

Can I mix ZENOO food with other types of food (kibble, raw, etc.)?

Mixing ZENOO food with processed food is safe and can be fed long-term. But we always recommend switching to a RAW diet completely to experience maximum health benefits.
